Jesus Is Real: Amen William, if the Word doesn't wash us, daily through God's Spirit directing us to overcome our flesh nature, we will (and we all have at one point or another) use club others (which is of our fleshly nature ways etc.) with not only God's Word but with what ever is handy. And the thing is is that "Christianity" in the pure sense is "Following Christ." But how the world in the church has shown their own fake christianity run away. And amen again Willaim, God is always good to those in whom His Desire toward them is Repentance and not Destruction. And may all our proud little worlds fall by the way side. We're all still a work in progress. But we can learn how the powers of darkness has deceived us with each encounter we have, to learn how to separate any offence into two peices - the person (who seems to be the only party doing the offending - but that's not the case in truth) and the demons who ARE BRINGING the offense our way. sjones8295: I realized something, that the religion of "Christianity" has so taken my heart that I had no room to love people. It wasn't until I considered a life without God that I realized that the Lord has changed my heart and that I really still do value human life, and discovered that I can love people that I haven't loved before. I used Christianity as a wordly weapon and took charge of it myself as if I owned it. I surrounded myself with it, and cut myself off from other people. I thought just quoting verses would be enough. But there's so much more to it that has to happen first. There needs to be a conviction, inside out, not outside in.02/12/08 06:47 PM
